A performance combining dance and monologue challenges a masculine society through belly dance
Mascu-Fuck is a solo piece where artist Moe Mustafa confronts his past and challenges a masculine society through belly dance—drawing inspiration from iconic Egyptian dancers such as Suhair Zaki and Samia Gamal.
The piece unfolds as a series of monologues that reflect on growing up gay, experiences of rejection, the weight of parental influence, and the vulnerability of failed relationships. Mascu-Fuck is both defiance and release, an intimate confrontation with masculinity and its fractures.
