Access tickets and services
Wheelchair users and people using Rollators
Wheelchair spaces on the Main Stage are located in the first balcony. The Main Stage lift is located in the tower on the Itäinen Teatterikuja side.
Tickets for assistants accompanying wheelchair users are free of charge. We recommend bringing your own assistant, as our premises — particularly on the Main Stage — are not fully accessible. Our ushers are not able to act as assistants alongside their primary duties.
As wheelchair spaces are limited, tickets must be reserved by phone through the box office (tel. +358 10 7331 331) no later than the day before the performance to help us provide the best possible service.
If you are attending a performance with a rollator, please also contact the box office so that we can prepare accordingly and inform our front-of-house staff.
Blind and partially sighted audience members
Guide dogs are welcome at the Finnish National Theatre. Please inform us when purchasing your ticket.
Tickets for assistants are free of charge. Please contact the box office (tel. +358 10 7331 331) for details.
Deaf and hard of hearing audience members
Induction loop systems are available on the Main Stage and the Small Stage:
- Main Stage: stalls, rows 7–12
- Small Stage: please contact the box office (tel. +358 10 7331 331) for details
Tickets for assistants are free of charge.
