The Finnish National Theatre has, from spring 2026 onwards, offered the possibility to follow performances with subtitles in both English and Finnish.
The Finnish subtitles are condensed and written in clear standard language. You can read the subtitles on your own phone via the Subtitle Mobile app. Subtitles are available in selected showings and performances. In the autumn 2026, subtitles are available for Muistopäivä, Toinen tasavalta, Lady T, if you ask us and Lopetus.
